Property description

Ty Hendy is a large wheelchair-accessible farmhouse set within 35 acres of woodland, grassed fields and farmland just a few minutes drive from Lligwy Beach.

The first floor has a spacious and light kitchen/dining area has a sofa, dining table with free-standing seating, and fully-equipped luxury kitchen with large utility room. The stunning separate living room has a vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the private grounds, feature lighting, comfortable sofas, and flat-screen TV.

The first floor has four spacious bedrooms including an accessible twin bedroom with profiling bed, mobile hoist, and en-suite wet-room. The accessible wet-room has a step-free shower, fixed grab-rails for shower, WC, and washbasin, drop-down grab-rail for WC, lever-style taps, wheeled shower chair, and wheel-under washbasin.

Also on the first floor is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, large king-size bedroom, and spacious family bathroom.

The ground floor at Ty Hendy is accessed from the parking area at the front of the property, and has a cosy sitting room with sofas and wall-mounted TV, and a modern kitchen/dining room with access onto a private patio.

The ground floor has a double bedroom with sofa, two twin en-suite bedrooms, double en-suite bedroom, and a family bathroom with large corner bath (no accessible wet-room available on ground-floor).

Ty Hendy is set within tranquil gardens and countryside on Tyddyn Mon, a 35 acre farm just a 10-minute walk away from the award winning Lligwy Beach.

Guests can enjoy 35 acres of woodland, grassed fields and farmland, lawns and an adventure playground, ‘Ty Crempog’ Pancake house, and pretty nature trails.

The farm is the perfect base to explore Anglesey’s stunning coastline and beaches and numerous activities and attractions are available locally. It is a short drive over the Menai or Britannia Bridges to the stunning Snowdonia National Park and the spectacular Llyn Peninsula coastline.

Reviews

The accommodation is amazing. Really big. If you have the whole house with a big get together it didn’t feel crowded. The farm next to it was great for the kids. Horses, rabbits, ducks, chickens and pigs. Plus the play tractors and a nice walk in the fields. Plus just down the road Lligwy is a great beach. We will be back when we are next in Anglesey.

We had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and perfect for everybody. The beds were very comfy and the linen beautiful.

We needed somewhere that was big enough for 4 families providing space for all. This house was great the best way to describe it is 2 houses on 2 floors. 2 kitchens a lounge and 4 bedrooms on each. The upstairs of the house is in my opinion a larger well laid out part of the house which is where we congregated as 4 families mostly. There was an extra pull out table with extra seating. The en-suite bathrooms in most of the bedrooms were to a high standard as were the bedrooms and furniture. This was a brilliant family/friends holiday for us all we thank you so much for having us stay.

We had an amazing holiday with lots of lovely walks around Amlwch and Cemaes. We enjoyed being in a remote location but still within walking distance to the local pub and beach. Many thanks for such a wonderful stay.

What a great location, fantastic house, 15 mins (leisurely) walk to beach. 13 adults 3 children we all loved the pancake house, the animals and the pottery. House was fantastic - 2 large kitchens, 2 living rooms, more space than you would ever need, spotless. Would definitely book again.

We were a party of 14 family members (ages 1 - 70) taking the whole property. Wonderful, quiet, secluded location; the beach was a little further than we anticipated! Loads of space, clean, and a very high standard. On site facilities are good, exploring the 35 acres was fascinating.
