meet the escape owners at notgrove holidays!

In the next instalment of our popular ‘Meet the Escape Owners’ blog series, we are delighted to be introducing you to the team at Notgrove Holidays in the Cotswolds…

Can you tell us a little about you and the name of your escapes?

Hi, we are Harry and Diana Acland and we started Notgrove Holidays in 2014 with just two cottages. Since then it has grown into four luxury barns, eight glamping pods and five safari tents to accommodate families, groups, and couples spread out around the beautiful Cotswold village of Notgrove.

Can you tell us a little more about your escapes?

We are located in the beautiful Cotswolds on a private 1500 acre estate. Our accommodation comprises four accessible luxury self-catering barns which sleep from 6 – 30 guests. All four barns can be booked individually or for groups in various ways. They have level access and interior, spacious open-plan living areas, ground-floor bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (with level access showers), and wheelchair access out through French doors to the garden seating area.

What inspired you to ensure your escape was accessible?

We want to be able to welcome everyone, for whole families to able to enjoy relaxing time away together. Our barns have a downstairs bedroom with wet-room and are large and open-plan making them accessible to all the family.

What is unique about your escape?

Notgrove is a private 1500 acre estate set on a working farm, we are in a beautiful location in the Cotswold Hills. We have a games room for you to enjoy with table football, ping pong, TV and games.

Our pet farm animals live in the paddocks behind the barns and love to meet our guests, we have goats, donkeys, alpaca and cows. The estate has lots of wonderful walks some on roads and some off-piste for hardy wheelchairs.

Do you have a favourite local accessible café, restaurant or pub?

The Nuttery in the village is a lovely café/bar which is accessible for wheelchairs with level access/interior and accessible toilets  https://www.nutteryatnotgrove.co.uk/
