Daisybank Cabin at Hoe Grange Holidays

What a wonderful find. As our first experience of needing accessible accommodation we could not have wished for better. Beautiful well equipped lodges in lovely surroundings. We stayed in both Hipley and Daisybank with the lovely hot tub perfect for looking at the starry sky. The off road buggy devoured the terrain and made exploring the area a delight. David and Felicity were welcoming and always helpful allowing us to arrive early. As the next guests cancelled due to the corona virus they allowed us to depart late as well. Can't wait to visit again.

What can I say? Absolutely superb! We have just returned from a family weekend staying in Daisybank Cabin and the Skylark pod. It was our first trip away with my husband who is wheelchair bound and severely disabled and were naturally apprehensive but all worries disappeared from the moment we arrived! Everything was just perfect for both his needs and the rest of the family travelling with us. All the equipment we had pre-booked was in place and the cabin itself was brilliantly designed to enable easy wheelchair access to all areas. As well as being spotlessly clean and comfortable there were so many ‘little touches’ that really made it a ‘home from home’. We had a fantastic weekend - our only regret being that we hadn’t booked for longer! Thank you so much Felicity and David for providing such high quality accommodation for ALL your guests - both able bodied and disabled. We will definitely be back again!

Had a lovely 4 nights in Daisybank and the weather was great. Plenty of space for husband's powerchair and the wet room was a joy. Lots of thought gone into the lodge for disabled guests. Views picture perfect from every single one. Days out to Chatsworth and Carsington Water. Our girls loved the hot tub and eldest was in her element in the posh pod...again very well thought out. Complimentary welcome pack - nice touch. Would love to visit again and highly recommend.

This was our third holiday at Hoe Grange and it was as lovely as ever and even more improved with our cabin having its own hot tub. We stayed in Daisybank and Hipley. One of our party is disabled and the facilities are excellent without feeling institutionalised. The cabins are so comfortable and well equipped it just contributes to a fabulously relaxing holiday. We brought the dog this year and it was ideal with walks straight from the cabin. Felicity and David could not be more helpful and welcoming and contributed to making another memorable holiday in Derbyshire.

We stayed in Daisybank Cabin. The cabin was cosy, perfect for my mum’s disabled needs, had everything you could possibly require, very green and brilliant views. David and Felicity are the most welcoming hosts and supplied lovely bread, homemade biscuits, milk, tea etc. The addition of the shop, reception and additional shower facilities are a great plus. In the shop we bought some bacon, burgers, milk and even managed to buy two Christmas presents from suppliers of local goods. Wonderful holiday all round.

Our second visit to Daisybank because it had excellent facilities for a disabled person confined to a wheelchair. A relaxing environment where you can watch cows, sheep horses and many types of wildlife. The welcome pack of home-made bread and biscuits were very tasty. Highly recommended.

This was our second holiday in Daisybank Cabin. Just as good as last time - if not better with the addition of a very comfy chair. Truly accessible cabin and facilities and really wonderful peaceful views all around. You can sit outside and really feel in the heart of the countryside. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed trips to Carsington Water - nearby - and had nice food at the local village pub.

The cosy cabins sat in glorious countryside is just the start - Felicity and David are incredible friendly and helpful. We loved the hot tub and my husband had tremendous fun on the BOMA 7. We're already looking at when to go back!

We love this place. Very wheelchair friendly, really well equipped and comfortable, with easy access by car to lots of places of interest particularly Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth, Bakewell and Carsington Water. Whatever the time of year it is a great place to stay.

Just had a great long weekend at Hoe Grange, lovely relaxing place to stay and so great to find somewhere with accessible facilities that will also allow us to bring our dog. We had everything we needed and more! Thank you I'm sure we will be back soon!

Profiling bed and wet-room were good for my wife who is a wheelchair user and the cottage is very warm and cosy. Very nice to be surrounded by rolling hills and animals. Will certainly return.
