Accessible Farmhouse France is a beautifully restored French stone house set in large private grounds.

The farmhouse has a pretty living room with original features, comfortable sofas, TV and Amazon Firestick, and French doors leading onto the terrace and gardens. The large farmhouse style kitchen also has original features, a dining table with bench and free-standing seating, views over the gardens and pool, and double doors leading onto a terrace and outdoor dining area.

Accessible Farmhouse France has two ground-floor bedrooms including an accessible bedroom with two profiling beds, ceiling hoist, and cameras; and a double bedroom with private bathroom.

The large accessible wet-room has a step-free shower, wheeled shower chair, adult size shower bench, rise-and-fall bath, and ceiling hoist.

On the first floor are four further bedrooms including a double en-suite bedroom with dressing area, a double en-suite bedroom with shower room, and two twin bedrooms sharing a family bathroom with bath, shower, and WC.

The farmhouse has a large studio/therapy room with full width glass doors onto the terrace, therapy equipment, bench, bean bags, and ceiling hoist.

Accessible Farmhouse France has beautiful private grounds and a private pool with hoist and pool wheelchair. A hard-standing terrace surrounds the house, and guests can enjoy a shaded outdoor dining area with BBQ, large lawns, and table tennis.

A separate apartment for four guests is also available with sitting area, kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom, and shower room.

The farmhouse and apartment have private hard-standing parking.

Accessible Farmhouse France is situated in the south-west French countryside just 20 minutes from the Atlantic coastline including the beautiful coastal city of Biarritz, and popular beach resort of Hossegor.

The farmhouse is close to the pretty village of Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq with shops, restaurants and weekly market, and a supermarket is nearby. A riding school specialising in horse riding for guests with disabilities is ten minutes drive away, and kayaking, boat hire and bike hire can also be found ten minutes away. It is a 25 minute drive to the nearest accessible beach at Capbreton, a beach wheelchair is available to loan.

Accessible Farmhouse France is located 40 minutes from Biarritz Airport, and 90 minutes from Bordeaux Airport.

The house is perfect for both families with special needs folks and those just wishing for a relaxing, gorgeous holiday. We were two families, including one person in a wheelchair. From a family with a disabled member’s perspective, the house couldn’t be better equipped. Everything is considered from hoists into the pool, to beds with sides, and a wet room. The house and the bedrooms are so spacious. Host Benedicta is incredibly helpful. The location is easy with supermarkets less than ten minutes away, the beach 20 minutes away and loads of things to do in the area. I was impressed with how accessible the area is. It was bliss. Would definitely recommend and go back!

I rented this house in August 2024 to spend a week with my family in this very pleasant region, close to the beaches. The host welcomed us very warmly and we could count on her for the slightest problem. I recommend this rental for its beautiful layout, plus it is very functional and very well equipped. Ideal for a large family.
