Acre Wood Barn is a newly renovated accessible barn conversion with spectacular panoramic views of the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria.

The dog-friendly barn has a light and airy kitchen/diner with tri-fold doors providing stunning uninterrupted views and access onto the private patio. The stylish modern kitchen has height-adjustable/wheel-under induction hob and sink, and a ‘slide-and-glide’ oven.

The kitchen/diner also has a large dining table with free-standing seating, breakfast bar with second sink and bar stools, and leather sofa.

Acre Wood Barn has a separate cosy snug with comfortable sofas, armchair, wall-mounted Smart TV, floor-to-ceiling windows and door opening leading to the private driveway.

The barn has an accessible bedroom with single profiling bed, standard single bed, ceiling hoist leading into the en-suite wet-room, wall-mounted Smart TV, and tri-fold doors leading onto the patio.

The spacious en-suite wet-room has step-free shower, drop-down grab-rail in shower, height-adjustable fold-down shower bench, wheeled shower chair/commode, shower stool, fixed grab-rails for shower, fixed and drop-down grab-rails either side of WC, and drop-down grab-rails either side of height-adjustable wheel-under washbasin.

Acre Wood Barn has a second accessible bedroom with two single profiling beds which can also be configured as a super-king size bed, and tri-fold doors opening onto the patio.

The ground floor also has a shower room and a utility room with laundry facilities.

On the first floor is a landing with cosy reading nook and a further bedroom with twin or king-size beds.

Acre Wood Barn has beautiful outdoor spaces to enable guests to enjoy the peaceful countryside setting with panoramic views of the Dales. Guests can enjoy a spacious patio with outdoor dining furniture, a path leading to the driveway at the front of the property (with EV charger), and a gently sloping path to the bottom of the garden and lawns.

The barn is situated on the border of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks in Cumbria near the pretty village of Mansbergh on the banks of the River Lune.

It is just three miles to the quaint historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale with independent shops, cafes and restaurants, pretty streets and buildings, 14th Century Devil’s Bridge and famous spot of ‘Ruskin’s View’. The bustling market town of Kendal is also within easy driving distance with medieval castle, market, shops, cafes and restaurants, and a wide range of local attractions and events.
