Property description

Clifftop Coastal Retreat is a beautiful chalet-style home on the Isle of Sheppey situated in an elevated clifftop setting.

The dog-friendly house has a light and airy open-plan living room has two sofas, flat-screen TV, and double doors leading onto level decking with sea views (two ramps available). An open archway leads into a stylish fully-equipped kitchen, and dining table with bench and free-standing seating.

The four bedrooms have been individually designed to reflect the maritime and aviation history of the Isle of Sheppey. On the ground-floor is wheelchair-accessible ‘The Plane Room’ with king-size bed and ‘The Boat Room’ with twin beds.

The ground-floor accessible wet-room has a step-free shower, wall-mounted shower seat, fixed grab-rail for shower, fixed and drop-down grab-rails for WC, and wheel-under washbasin with lever-style taps.

The first floor has a spacious landing with skylight, sofa and workspace. ‘The Bird Room’ has a king-size bed and Juliet balcony providing stunning sea views, and ‘The Beach Hut Room’ has a king-size/twin beds.

The spacious family bathroom has a walk-in shower, twin washbasins, and separate bath.

Guests can enjoy a large level decked area accessed via ramps from the living room. The decking has outdoor dining furniture, uninterrupted garden and coastal views, and steps down to the long private lawns with garden sofas. An outdoor hot tap is available for washing dogs.

The house has private parking for two cars on a hard-standing driveway with EV charger.

Clifftop Coastal Retreat is situated in a peaceful residential area in the village of Minster-on-Sea with blue-flag beach, wide promenade, and shops, cafes and restaurants.

The Isle of Sheppey is off the North Coast of Kent and can be reached by bridge. Guests can enjoy the beautiful coastline, nature reserves, or boat trips; and discover more about the rich maritime history of The Isle of Sheppey in museums and heritage centres.
