Estuary Riverside Chalets are two luxury purpose-built properties with stunning open views across the River Wyre.
No 1 Blackberry and No 2 Bramble have stunning open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a private terrace and across open countryside to the river. The living rooms have large corner sofas and second sofa; dining areas with large dining tables and free-standing seating, and views through a second set of floor-to-ceiling windows.
The chalets have modern fully-equipped kitchen with motorised pop-up sockets and wireless charging, and a breakfast bar with seating for two. Guests can enjoy underfloor heating and the convenience of motorised electric blinds throughout the chalets.
No 1 Blackberry and No 2 Bramble have a spacious twin bedroom with profiling bed and second single bed (second bed in No 1 Blackberry is an electric bed), and an en-suite accessible wet-room with level access shower, folding shower door, raised WC, wheel-under washbasin with integrated grab-rails, and lever-style taps.
A mobile hoist, tilt-in-space shower chair, shower/commode wheeled chair, furniture raisers, two sit-to-stand aids (sling required), and toilet frame are available to guests upon request.
The chalets have a second twin bedroom, a super-king master bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a second spacious shower-room.
Estuary Riverside Chalets have level access onto an enclosed decked terrace with outdoor dining furniture and are surrounded by a ten-acre field. The terraces have stunning open views across the countryside to the tidal river where guests can enjoy watching sail and speed boats, jet-skis, canoes, and plenty of local wildlife.
Up to two small/medium size dogs are welcomed and others may be considered upon request. An Electric Car Charging Point is available next to the chalets.
The chalets are located on a quiet country lane just outside the village of Hambleton, yet are just 9 miles from the popular seaside resort of Blackpool where guests can enjoy the Sandcastle Waterpark (with hoist), the famous Blackpool Illuminations, and Blackpool Tower.
It is also less than a one hour drive from the beautiful Lake District. (Beach wheelchairs and Tramper all-terrain wheelchairs can be hired locally).

Fantastic accommodation to help me convalesce from a knee replacement. Ground floor accommodation which is very spacious, the shower rooms are fantastic and with the help of shower chairs and frames, I knew I was in a safe environment to aid my recovery. The views across the river are amazing and it was so great to ask Alexa to open the bedroom blinds in the morning so I could watch the sheep in the field.
Hopefully you arrive at these two chalets in daylight so you can appreciate the view of the Wyre Estuary. I appreciate as the mother and carer of a disabled young man that everyone's disability impacts them differently and so their needs are different. When we arrived and settled in we did reposition his bed and some furniture to make things as easy as possible, and when we chatted to the owners about transfers in the bathroom they provided a frame for around the toilet. If you're looking through the details and you don't think these chalets will cater for a particular disability or mobility issue I would say drop the owners a message, they will certainly do their very best to accommodate your needs and the needs of others in your party.
Had a fantastic stay in Bramble Chalet, Smart TVs in all the rooms were great for our teenager, floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views of the estuary were fab and there was a lovely decked area that we hope to take advantage of in the summer. They really have thought of everything with all the mod cons! Great hosts, fantastic chalets, just take your wellies as the lanes can get quite muddy. Can’t wait to return.
We were stunned with how beautiful the chalet was when we arrived, it has plenty of space and is full of all the mod cons you can need. The master bed is gloriously comfortable and the sofa is perfect for relaxing on after a hard day doing nothing.
