Property description
Heddwch Retreat is a luxury bungalow with uninterrupted countryside views situated just a few minutes from the West Wales coast.
Heddwch has level access into a wide hallway leading into the light and airy open-plan living/dining/kitchen space.
The living room has comfortable sofas and a large wall-mounted TV (riser/recliner chair also available), and the stylish kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and a wheel-under breakfast bar with free-standing seating. Bi-fold doors open onto a level terrace with uninterrupted countryside views.
The cottage has a spacious accessible bedroom with single profiling bed and space for a second single bed, bedroom push-call buttons, and ceiling hoist leading directly into a luxury en-suite wet-room. (A Sara Stedy sit-to-stand aid can be hired locally and delivered to Heddwch prior to guest arrivals).
The spacious wet-room has a step-free shower, optional wall-mounted shower seat, drop-down and fixed grab-rails for shower, fold-back shower screen, Aquatec Tilt-in-Space shower/commode chair, drop-down and fixed grab-rails either side of Gerberit Aquaclean WC, wheel-under washbasin, full-height body drier, and bathroom alarm pull-cords.
Heddwch Retreat has a second bedroom with super-king/twin beds, and a family bathroom with walk-in shower and shower over bath. The bungalow is dog-friendly.
Guests can enjoy a private terrace with glass balustrade, lawned gardens, and panoramic countryside views. Private hard-standing parking is available to the front of the property.
Heddwch means ‘Peace’ in Welsh, and this bungalow is certainly true to its name lying as it does in the quiet rural hamlet of Llwyndafydd, overlooking farmland and just a few minutes from the West Wales coast and hidden coves of Cardigan Bay.
Holidays for larger groups of family and friends can be arranged with additional cottages and guest rooms available just minutes from Heddwch.
Heddwch Retreat is just a few miles from the seaside town of New Quay with sandy beaches, stone quay, and cafes and restaurants; and within easy driving distance of the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron and the historic town of Cardigan, situated on the estuary of the River Teifi.
Cwmtydu Cove is a 5 minute drive down the coastal lane with its beachside car park and views out to sea. Poppit Sands beach near Cardigan has beach wheelchairs available and provides level access along the wide sandy shoreline.
Guests can enjoy exploring the South Ceredigion coastline, and Heddwch is just half an hour from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
