Sika Cottage is a luxury single-storey cottage situated on a family farm near the South Cornwall coastline.

The dog-friendly cottage has level access into a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen with vaulted ceiling, open beams, and original features. The stylish living room has a sofa, armchairs, Smart TV, and cosy wood-burning stove.

The modern fully-equipped kitchen has a wheel-under sink, and dining table with free-standing seating.

Sika Cottage has a double bedroom with open beams, original features, en-suite wet-room and uninterrupted countryside views. The spacious sandstone wet-room has a step-free shower, fixed grab-rail for shower, wall-mounted shower seat, static shower chair, drop-down and fixed grab-rails for raised WC, wheel-under washbasin, and emergency cord (additional suction grab-rails available).

The twin/super-king bedroom has open beams, original features, en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, and doors onto the terrace (one small step). The cottage has a flexible furniture layout.

Guests can enjoy a South-facing enclosed terrace with panoramic countryside and lake views, outdoor dining furniture, and a BBQ. The cottage also has a large communal lawned area below it with a picnic bench. Parking is available close to the cottage with level access routes, and a EV Charger is situated on-site.

Sika Cottage is situated at Poltarrow Farm Holiday Cottages set in 45 acres of hills, farmland, and countryside; and is one of 6 luxury cottages converted from original farm buildings, including a second accessible cottage ‘Red Deer’.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of family-friendly facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool (with steps and hand-rail to access), and changing room and WC on the same level (the pool building has a step at entrance, a ramp is available).

The farm also has a sports hall with climbing wall, table tennis, short tennis, badminton, trampoline, basketball hoop, and pool table (step at entrance, ramp available); and a ‘Tumble room’ for under 5s with tunnels and slides, soft building blocks, Wendy house, games, and creative play.

Outdoor activities include an enclosed play area with pirate themed playhouse and slide, ride-on toys, scooters, bikes, sand pit, and see saw. The farm also has a private fishing lake with rowing boat, and farm trail with pond, woodland, meadows, and bird watching.

Guests can also enjoy meeting the farm animals with opportunities for feeding the animals and pony grooming.

Poltarrow Farm is situated in the small hamlet of St. Mewan just west of St.Austell, with a choice of pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes drive.

The farm is ideally placed for exploring the beaches of the South Cornwall coastline, local attractions including The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, pretty towns and villages, and historic attractions. Guests are also within easy driving distance of the stunning North Cornwall coastline.
