Property description

The Coach House is a 5* luxury cottage with spacious open-plan living and private accessible hot-tub.

The Coach House has a stunning open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with beautiful oak beams and antique chandelier, sumptuous leather sofas, riser/recliner chair, solid wood dining table, and patio doors with ramp access onto the garden. A Sara Stedy sit-to-stand aid is available to loan.

The luxury kitchen has a height-adjustable sink and hob, low-level storage cupboards and drawers, low height microwave, remote controlled fan, and side-opening oven.

The Coach House has a large king-size bedroom with profiling bed, mobile hoist, bed raisers, wall-mounted TV, two armchairs, and a large en-suite luxury wet-room.

The second bedroom (twin/superking) also has a wall-mounted TV and shared access to the en-suite wet-room with step-free shower, fixed grab-rails for shower, washbasin, WC and bath, drop-down grab-rail alongside comfort height toilet, and choice of shower chairs (including a tilt-in-space shower chair). The cottage also has a separate WC.

The Coach House has ramp access onto a level sandstone patio, and enclosed garden with lawns and private hot-tub (with Gantry mobile hoist on request). Guests can enjoy views of the Cornish countryside.

The cottage has private parking, EV charging point, and hard-standing driveway directly outside the front door. Guests have access to a communal garden with large unfenced grassed area, orchard and wooded area. The cottage is dog-friendly.

The Coach House is one of five luxury cottages at Harrods Cornish Cottages, set in a peaceful rural location less than 3 miles from the popular seaside town of Perranporth with accessible beach, beach wheelchair hire, and local shops, restaurants and cafes. Two additional accessible cottages are also available.

Harrods Cornish Cottages are situated on the coastal road between Newquay and Truro within easy driving distance of popular attractions such as Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium, The Eden Project, Pendennis Castle, National Trust properties, and the stunning beaches of the North Coast of Cornwall.

We had a fantastic few nights at The Coach House, it's large, clean and has the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. In terms of it being suitable for someone with a disability, I think its ideal. Plenty of room for a wheelchair, wide doors, room to store equipment, and you park right by the front door on a private drive, so its easy to unpack the car. The accommodation is spacious and the furniture well spaced out which was perfect for me. I really do recommend The Coach House, it's an amazing place, they have thought of everything to make things easy and comfortable for their guests.

An amazing property with everything we needed, couldn’t have asked for better. The accessibility of the property was perfect for our needs.

The cottage is lovely, with brilliant amenities. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Extra little touch having the horses to look at in the morning.
