Hayloft Cottage and Cider Press Cottage at Todsworthy Farm Holiday Cottages are two luxury wheelchair-accessible barn conversions situated on a working family farm.

Hayloft Cottage has an open-plan living/dining/kitchen design also with comfortable sofa, riser/recliner armchair, TV, kitchen with wheel-under hob and wheel-under sink, and wheelchair-accessible dining table with free-standing seating. Guests can enjoy double doors leading directly onto the patio.

Cider Press Cottage has a spacious and light living room with comfortable sofas, riser/recliner armchair, TV, pretty original features, and double doors leading directly onto the patio. The stylish kitchen/dining room has a wheel-under hob, wheel-under sink, and wheelchair-accessible dining table with free-standing seating.

The cottages have spacious hallways with stairs leading to the first floor, and a spacious ground floor bedroom with either a double or twin bed, wall-mounted TV, and en-suite wet-room (Hayloft Cottage has two profiling beds). Bed wedges (similar to bed-sides) are available to loan.

The bedrooms both have an en-suite wet-room with step-free shower, fixed grab-rail for shower, wall-mounted shower seat, fixed and drop-down grab-rail for WC, and fixed grab-rail for wheel-under washbasin. A wheeled shower chair and two sizes of WC frame are available to loan. (The wet-rooms also have access from the hallway).

Hayloft Cottage and Cider Press Cottage both have two further bedrooms on the first floor with vaulted ceilings and original beams, both can be configured as double or twin bedrooms. Hayloft Cottage has two en-suite bedrooms and Cider Press has a family bathroom.

The dog-friendly cottages have a large shared courtyard with parking, and each has a private patio area with outdoor dining furniture and BBQ.

Todsworthy Farm is a working family farm with cows, sheep, pigs and chickens, and has a unique viewing area where guests can see the farm animals up-close. The farm is surrounded by woods, fields and orchards with an abundance of wildlife.

The 70 acres farm is situated in the pretty hamlet of Albaston near Gunnislake in the Tamar Valley, with several pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

The Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty bordering the Dartmoor National Park and a wide range of attractions and activities are available locally including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, National Trust properties and gardens, and pretty towns and villages around Cornwall and Devon.

We've just had our first stay at the Cider Press and we can confidently say it won't be our last! A perfect set-up in a gorgeous location for our needs and everything had been thought about. It was refreshing to be away from home and not have to compromise our son's care. If you haven't been yet, you really must (Owner guest book).

We just got back from staying here. Lovely cottage, so accessible for my husband who is in a wheelchair. The cottage is so beautiful and cosy, welcomed with scones, jam, clotted cream, fresh bread and a bottle of wine. Definitely going to come back again and stay here! (Facebook review).

We have just stayed in the Hayloft for four nights, we had a family holiday with a wheelchair user and found the facilities very suitable and the cottage homely. The location was great for holiday entertainment, beaches or interesting towns. We enjoyed a walk around the farm and sampled some farm goodies. Definitely planning a second visit (Owner guest book).

We were all blown away with the Hayloft cottage and could not fault it in any way, it was absolutely beautiful and I will look at booking it again next year (Owner guest book).

Have just returned from an extended stay at Todsworthy (Hayloft). Cottage was immaculate with facilities second to none, cream tea on arrival was delicious. Everything is supplied in cottage for a 5* holiday. Plenty of room to manoeuvre wheelchair and mobile hoist, wet-room great size. Nothing was too much trouble for hosts Jon & Sarah. Will most definitely be returning very soon (Facebook review).
