Barn Owl View is a luxury 5* Gold wheelchair-accessible lodge with beautiful countryside views.

Barn Owl View has a stunning open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with two sets of floor-to-ceiling doors leading onto a private terrace with panoramic countryside views. The living room has a comfortable sofa and armchair placed to enjoy the beautiful views, and dining area with table and free-standing seating.

Barn Owl View has a stylish accessible kitchen with electrically-operated rise-and-fall/wheel-under work-top and hob, electrically-operated wall units, pull-out heat resistant drawers below a side-opening microwave and slide-and-glide oven, and kitchen equipment at wheelchair-accessible height.

The lodge has a large accessible en-suite bedroom with king-size/twin beds and double doors with level access onto the private terrace (bed blocks are available to lift the bed). A mobile hoist is available to loan.

The en-suite wet-room has a step-free shower, fixed grab-rails for shower, WC and washbasin, self-propelled adaptable shower/commode chair, static shower chair, drop-down grab-rail for WC, raised WC seat, wheel-under washbasin, and emergency cord.

Barn Owl View has the most incredible lookout, all the bedrooms are beautifully designed and the kitchen has everything you need.

We had an amazing first stay in Barn Owl View. We loved the swimming pool, games room, gym and the breathtaking view. It was a great place to explore this part of Shropshire, with easy access to Shrewsbury, Wem & Ellesmere. The cottage was fabulous and had everything we could have asked for, plus it welcomes dogs. We’d highly recommend a stay at Burlton Cottages and we’ll certainly be coming back.

Luxurious and well equipped cottage with countryside views. We booked to use the spacious pool every day and also tried out the games room. Lots of activities within easy reach, wonderful place for a holiday in any weather.
