Property description

Caerwen is a spacious and light holiday home which has been specifically adapted to provide a low stimulus and safe environment for families with children who have learning disabilities or autism (the house is also available to adults with learning disabilities/autism during term-time).

The house has a spacious lounge/dining room with leather sofas, fireplace, secure TV, dining table with seating for 6, and double doors onto the private garden. The modern fully-equipped kitchen has a breakfast room and utility room.

Also on the ground floor is a spacious soft-play room, with gym mats on the floor and walls, and colourful soft play equipment.

All four bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor, including a very large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, twin bedroom, and two single bedrooms (one with specialist ‘Tough’ furniture).

Caerwen has plentiful parking to the front of the property, and a spacious decked area and lawned garden to the rear of the house, designed to be enclosed and secure.

Caerwen is located in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the pretty market town of Narberth in the east of Pembrokeshire, with multi-coloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings lining the high street, and independent shops, award-winning cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Guests can visit Narberth Museum and Castle, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, and Oakwood Theme Park. Caerwen is also within easy driving distance of the popular harbour town of Tenby, and numerous stunning beaches along the Pembrokeshire coastline.

The Harriet Davis Trust also has 3 holiday homes located in Tenby adapted for guests with physical disabilities with specialist equipment and facilities such as hoists, profiling beds, lift, and accessible swimming pool (links below).
