Coastal Cottage is a purpose-built luxury lodge with a sunny terrace and private accessible hot-tub.
Coastal Cottage has a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a cosy wood-burning stove and plenty of space for any additional equipment required. The living area has comfortable sofas and TV, dining table with free-standing seating, and an accessible kitchen with ‘slide-and-glide’ oven, second sink, hob, and worksurface which are height-adjustable/wheelchair-accessible, and specialist kitchen utensils.
The lodge has three luxury en-suite bedrooms all with patio doors leading outside. The twin accessible bedroom has a single bed, profiling bed, looped tracking hoist leading into the wet-room, and a spacious accessible en-suite wet-room with step-free shower, wall-mounted shower seat, height-adjustable shower/changing bench, wheel-under washbasin, raised WC, and grab-rails.
The lodge also has a spacious king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath and walk-in shower, and an en-suite double/twin bedroom with walk-in shower.
Guests can enjoy private outdoor spaces including a sunny terrace with outdoor dining furniture, BBQ, private hot-tub with hoist, and paddock with lawns and a play frame. Coastal Cottage has a hard-standing drive and two allocated accessible parking spaces.
Coastal Cottage is pet-friendly and has also been adapted for guests who are blind or visually impaired. Lower Laurel Farm is situated in a peaceful rural location on the western edge of the Mendips, with easy access to a wide range of local activities and attractions. It is just 5 miles to the popular seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, and only 30 minutes to the vibrant city of Bristol.

Absolutely wonderful place, Coastal Cottage is so well equipped for all disabilities. It is so lovely to go somewhere knowing all the equipment available is needed to make my husband feel at home. Jenny and Paul are so welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Weston-Super-Mare nearby, as is Bristol. Noah's Ark Zoo farm is well worth a visit if you have children. How fantastic to stay at a beautiful accommodation with hoist access and an outdoor hot tub with a hoist! Great location near to Weston-Super-Mare , Bristol and other attractions.
