Property description

The Hay Barn is a newly-built luxury property with beautiful countryside views and spacious open-plan living.

The barn has a stunning open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with vaulted ceiling and countryside views on three sides. The living room has comfortable sofas, flat-screen TV, and cosy wood-burner, and the wheelchair-accessible dining table has free-standing seating for two.

The barn has a modern and stylish accessible kitchen with lowered/wheel-under hob, wheel-under sink, and ‘Slide-and-Hide’ oven.

The Hay Barn has a very large master bedroom with raised super king-size (or twin) bed, dressing table, storage, and single door providing beautiful picture views and access to the front of the barn. A bed handle is available on request.

The Hay Barn is one of three accessible barn conversions situated at Castle Chase Cottages on the outskirts of the pretty village of Ayston with village green, period stone houses and church.

The Old Stables accommodates six guests in 3 bedrooms and The Tack Room sleeps two guests, all three cottages can be booked together accommodating ten guests in total. The cottages are dog-friendly and welcome up to two dogs in each cottage.

Castle Chase Cottages are close to the picturesque market town of Uppingham with local amenities, independent shops, restaurants, tea rooms and local pubs.

Guests can enjoy visiting the popular market towns of Stamford and Oakham, and explore Rutland Water set in 4,200 acres of open countryside with Aqua Park, watersports, walking/cycling routes, cafe, Changing Places facility, and peaceful nature reserve.
