The Yard at Grand Get-Togethers is a beautifully converted luxury property set in a pretty village just a short drive from the historic city of York and the popular seaside town of Scarborough.

The Yard has ramp access, level interior, spacious living areas, and six large en-suite bedrooms (including three ground-floor bedrooms with walk-in shower facilities, and a further ground-floor bedroom with walk-in shower, shower grab-rail, shower chair and lever-operated taps). A portable ramp, detailed access guide, and 3D video tour are all available for the property.

The Yard has a huge open-plan living space with vaulted ceiling, original beams, and floor-to-ceiling doors leading onto the private gardens.

The lounge area has 3 large sofas, armchairs, a wall-mounted TV and double-sided wood-burner. The spacious dining area has a table with seating for 16, and the luxury modern kitchen has a central island and bar stool seating for 4.

The Yard has six large en-suite bedrooms with a combination of super king-sized, doubles and twins; and 4 bedrooms with level access are situated on the ground floor.

The Yard has luxury leisure facilities for guests including an indoor luxury swim spa with seating for 12, and bi-fold doors opening onto a landscaped walled garden and patio with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. The adjoining games room has a pool table and wall-mounted TV, also opening onto the walled garden and patio area.

The Yard is one of four large luxury properties owned by Grand Get-Togethers, perfect for large group celebrations or family get-togethers. Bogg Hall Barn (located a short drive away) has accessible features including profiling bed, mobile hoist, wet-room, and accessible kitchen.

The Yard is located in the village of Sherburn with local amenities, and situated between Malton and the popular seaside resort of Scarborough. A farm bakery, teashop and farm shop are all located close by.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of attractions and activities locally including Castle Howard near Malton, The World of James Herriot in Thirsk, Flamingo Land, the York Designer Outlet Village, and the historic city of York.

Guests can also enjoy the beautiful Yorkshire Coastline and visit the quaint fishing villages of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes, or popular seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington.

When we are looking for holiday properties to stay in it can often be quite difficult as we need spacious en-suite bathrooms and ground floor rooms. In addition to this we want the property to be as accessible as possible as well as being dementia friendly. When we found the Yard online and came to visit, we were delighted to find that it was perfect for our guests needs.

Fantastic few days at The Yard. Clean, quiet and loads of fun. I would recommend to anyone and can't wait to go back!

The Yard is a spectacular property with every thing needed for a great get away. The property is spacious and comfortable, we love the games room and the garden is a lovely space to sit and reflect or read with a glass of wine.

Recently stayed at 'The Yard' for a two night stay with a group of 12. From the moment we arrived you can see plenty of love, care and attention to detail has gone in to making this a comfortable, warm and welcoming place to stay. Great variety of rooms and sizes decorated fantastically with a clean, modern conversion. The whole venue was kitted out with all the necessities a group could require. The giant hot-tub and games room with full house WiFi catered perfectly for our group. Can't wait to go back!

The Yard was almost too good to be true. Fabulous property, the attention to detail is outstanding. Immaculately clean, comfy beds, stunning bathrooms. Never felt crowded for 14/15 of us. I could easily move in and never leave. Highly recommend, no hesitation.
