Hedgehunter Cottage is a 4* Gold single-storey cottage with light and airy open-plan living and patio doors providing open countryside views.

The living room has comfortable sofas, armchair, wall-mounted TV, and garden views (a riser/recliner chair can be loaned subject to availability). The kitchen/dining area has a modern fully-equipped kitchen and extendable dining table with free-standing seating.

Hedgehunter Cottage has four luxury en-suite bedrooms, all with TVs and zip-and-link beds that can be made up either as twin or super king-size beds.

The master bedroom has an en-suite accessible bathroom which can also be accessed from the hallway (can be closed off at night for privacy). The wet-room has a step-free shower, height-adjustable/wheel-under washbasin, and bath with emergency cord.

(Additional mobility equipment is available for the wet-room including wheeled and static shower/commode chairs, suction grab-rails, and raised WC seats).

The additional three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower cubicles.

Wallops Wood Cottages and Grenville have ten cottages in total, perfect for multi-generational holidays or celebratory get-togethers. For larger groups, Wallops Wood Cottages sleeps 46 guests, and Grenville sleeps a total of 26 guests. Wallops Wood also has 9 glamping shepherd’s huts in a secluded meadow nearby.

The beautiful indoor heated pool and jacuzzi at the main Wallops Wood site have hoist access, and can be booked for daily and exclusive swim sessions with access to a sauna and steam room. The pool also has gentle steps with handrail, and accessible changing rooms.

Families can enjoy a large games room with air hockey, pool table, table tennis, adventure bus with swing and slide, toy kitchen, soft play, range of toys, and sofas.

Wallops Wood Cottages are situated close to the pretty village of Droxford in the South Downs National Park, with local amenities including award-winning pubs and a village shop.

Reviews

Quality break for family with disability needs - really lovely short break which catered well for our older teenagers (hot tub swimming pool-Games room) but also managed to provide most things my wheelchair user husband needed (riser recliner- wheeled shower chair- wet room). This is rare find for us and all of us were greatly impressed with the quality of the holiday house and attention to detail.

Our group had a lovely stay at Wallops Wood. We had a lovely cottage with a very well-appointed kitchen, excellent hot tub and beautiful views. We enjoyed the pool and the accessibility of the cottages. We've already booked for next year and can't recommend Wallops Wood highly enough!
