Portuguese Laurel has a light and airy open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with vaulted ceiling, large wood-burner, two sets of double sliding doors opening onto accessible decking, and front door onto accessible ramp.

The open-plan space has comfortable sofas and armchair, flat-screen TV, stylish fully-equipped kitchen, and oak dining table with free-standing seating (can seat up to 14).

Portuguese Laurel has three en-suite bedrooms, all with zip-and-link beds that can be made up either as twin or super king-size beds, TVs, and doors opening onto accessible decking areas.

The stunning master bedroom has a wheelchair-accessible dressing table, and very large en-suite wet-room with step-free shower, height-adjustable/wheel-under washbasin, and emergency cord (additional mobility equipment is available to loan including wheeled and static shower/commode chairs, suction grab-rails, raised WC seats, and bath seat).

Guests can enjoy beautiful outdoor spaces including large level decking area with outdoor rattan sofas and dining furniture, and steps leading to an enclosed garden and private hot-tub.

A block-paved side-path also provides an accessible route to the garden and the cottage is dog-friendly.

Portuguese Laurel has two private parking spaces with hard-standing path leading to the accessible ramp.

Portugese Laurel is one of three luxury holiday homes at Grenville at Wallops Wood sleeping 26 guests in total and situated just one mile from the main Wallops Wood site (with a further 7 cottages and 9 glamping shepherd’s huts).

The beautiful indoor heated pool and jacuzzi at the main Wallops Wood site have hoist access, and can be booked for daily and exclusive swim sessions with access to a sauna and steam room. The pool also has gentle steps with handrail, and accessible changing rooms.

Families can enjoy a large games room with air hockey, pool table, table tennis, adventure bus with swing and slide, toy kitchen, soft play, range of toys, and sofas.

Wallops Wood Cottages are situated close to the pretty village of Droxford in the South Downs National Park, with local amenities including award-winning pubs and a village shop.

Lovely scenery - everything you need for a relaxing time. Portuguese Laurel was amazing and so warm. It's a quiet peaceful relaxing place and can highly recommend it. All in all a perfect retreat for young and old, a girly week away or for families and those who have mobility issues.

Wallops Wood great for the able and disabled. Fabulous location, superb property with everything you could wish for. Lovely pool and private hot-tub which was so welcome after a day out and about exploring. Brilliant for wheelchair users and lots of room in the property, they truly have tried to think of everything to make life easy and enjoyable. Would recommend and go back again.
