Silver Birch Cottage is a spacious 4* Gold single-storey cottage with multiple picture windows and cosy central woodburner.

The living room has comfortable sofas and armchair, flat-screen TV, and open garden views (a riser/recliner chair can be loaned subject to availability), and the stylish kitchen has accessible features including a second lowered/wheel-under sink and worktop, and lowered oven.

The two oak dining tables have free-standing seating for 8 but can be extended and additional tables added to seat up to 30, ideal for groups staying in multiple cottages at Wallops Wood.

Silver Birch Cottage has four luxury en-suite bedrooms, all with zip-and-link beds that can be made up either as twin or super king-size beds, and two with direct access onto the patio. Two of the bedrooms have wheelchair-accessible dressing tables and en-suite accessible wet-rooms with step-free showers, emergency cord, and height-adjustable/wheel-under washbasins.

(Additional mobility equipment is available for the wet-rooms/bathroom including wheeled and static shower/commode chairs, suction grab-rails, raised WC seats, and bath seat).

The other two bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.

Wallops Wood Cottages and Grenville have ten cottages in total, perfect for multi-generational holidays or celebratory get-togethers. For larger groups, Wallops Wood Cottages sleeps 46 guests, and Grenville sleeps a total of 26 guests. Wallops Wood also has 9 glamping shepherd’s huts in a secluded meadow nearby.

The beautiful indoor heated pool and jacuzzi at the main Wallops Wood site have hoist access, and can be booked for daily and exclusive swim sessions with access to a sauna and steam room. The pool also has gentle steps with handrail, and accessible changing rooms.

Families can enjoy a large games room with air hockey, pool table, table tennis, adventure bus with swing and slide, toy kitchen, soft play, range of toys, and sofas.

Wallops Wood Cottages are situated close to the pretty village of Droxford in the South Downs National Park, with local amenities including award-winning pubs and a village shop.

Great break, we'll be back. So lovely to stay in such a well thought through, equipped and clean cottage. Great for disabled guests with family. Especially enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub and very thoughtful welcome pack. We'll be back!

A brilliant family weekend! We rented four cottages for 26 of us, and one of the adults is disabled and a wheel-chair user. Silver Birch has a large area where we could all eat together and socialise in the evenings. The children loved the games room and the swimming pool, and it was great to be able to play games on the meadow. The facilities were excellent in every way, and the cottages and surrounding areas were spotless.
