Property description

Rose the Caravan is a wheelchair-accessible caravan situated on a popular Blue Anchor holiday park within a few minutes walk of beautiful sandy beaches.

Rose has a comfortable open-plan living/dining area with sofas, cosy gas fire, TV, dining table with bench and stools, and modern fully-fitted kitchen with wheel-under sink (due to be raised to standard height).

The extra-large master bedroom has a double bed, single profiling bed, and full room coverage ceiling tracking hoist. The caravan has a second twin bedroom, and a sofa bed in the lounge.

The accessible wet-room has a step-free shower, wheel-under washbasin with fixed grab-rail, drop-down grab-rail alongside WC, and wheel in shower/commode chair.

The dedicated parking space is large enough for most WAVs and guests can enjoy outdoor dining on the wrap-around terrace. The caravan is dog-friendly.

A large metal storage box is available behind Rose that houses a mobile hoist that can be used in and around Rose, including transfers to the beach wheelchair and as a contingency for the ceiling hoist in the master bedroom. It also contains a rotary washing line and can be used for storing specialist breathing equipment and oxygen tanks (Blue Anchor are happy to receive on behalf of guests at reception prior to arrival).

Rose is situated on the Golden Palm Resort at Chapel St Leonard’s with direct access to sandy beaches, indoor pool and water slides, and cafes, restaurants, shops and entertainment for all the family.   

The caravan is ideally situated for exploring more of the Lincolnshire coastline, Natureland seal sanctuary in Skegness, Fantasy Island and Glen Park market in Ingoldmells, Club Tropicana entertainment venue, Mablethorpe miniature railway, Gibraltar Point nature reserve, and Dobson’s Windmill and Heritage Centre.
