Nellie the Caravan is a wheelchair-accessible caravan situated on a popular Cove Communities holiday park within a few minutes’ walk of the beach at Selsey.

Nellie has a comfortable open-plan living/dining area with sofas, cosy electric fire, TV, and free-standing dining table and chairs. The modern fully-fitted kitchen has lowered worktops and a wheel-under sink.

The extra-large master bedroom has a double bed, single profiling bed, and full room coverage ceiling tracking hoist. The caravan has a second twin bedroom, and a sofa bed in the lounge.

The accessible wet-room has step-free shower, fixed grab-rail for shower, wall-mounted shower seat, drop-down grab-rail and fixed grab-rail alongside WC, and wheel in shower/commode chair.

The dedicated parking space is large enough for most WAVs and guests can enjoy outdoor dining on the wrap-around terrace. The caravan is dog-friendly.

A large metal storage box will soon be available behind Nellie that houses a mobile hoist that can be used in and around Nellie and as a contingency for the ceiling hoist in the master bedroom. It also contains a washing line and can be used for storing specialist breathing equipment and oxygen tanks (Cove are happy to receive on behalf of guests at reception prior to arrival).

Nellie is located on Seal Bay Resort – Europe’s largest caravan holiday park that can be found on the southern peninsula of West Sussex on the outskirts of the village of Selsey. The park is flat with fantastically accessible facilities including an accessible bus service to get you around the huge site. The facilities include 3 entertainment venues, with live entertainment bingo, kids clubs and discos.

Seal Bay Resort has an outdoor pool and splash zone, indoor pool complex with multiple pools for infants, water slides, and pool for serious swimmers. Within the indoor pool complex is a spa and a spacious disabled changing room with ceiling hoist and changing bench.

The park has lots of arcades, an on site fairground, ten pin bowling, surfing simulator and it’s all located right next to the beach. The resort has a great choice of takeaway and sit in food outlets and there is even more choice at the village just 5 minutes walk from Nellie.
