Mel the Caravan is a wheelchair-accessible caravan situated on Holiday Resort Unity within a few minutes’ walk of the sandy beaches at Brean Sands and Berrow.

Mel has a comfortable open-plan living/dining area with sofas, cosy electric fire, Smart TV, and free-standing dining table and chairs. The modern fully-fitted kitchen has lowered worktops and a wheel-under sink.

The extra-large master bedroom has a double profiling bed, single bed, H-frame full room coverage ceiling hoist, mobile hoist, and ‘Sara Stedy’ transfer aid. The caravan has a second twin bedroom with full-size single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge.

The accessible wet-room has step-free shower, fixed grab-rail for shower, wall-mounted shower seat, drop-down grab-rail and fixed grab-rail alongside WC, and wheel in shower/commode chair.

The caravan has gated ramp access, a dedicated parking space large enough for most WAVs, and is dog-friendly (up to 2 dogs welcome).

A storage box is located behind Mel that houses a mobile hoist and a beach wheelchair which is available for exclusive use of HTH guests.

The storage box can be also be used for storing specialist breathing equipment and oxygen tanks (Holiday Resort Unity are happy to receive on behalf of guests at reception prior to arrival).

Mel is located on Holiday Resort Unity in Brean Sands, with a wide range of facilities including an indoor pool with hoist and accessible changing room, entertainment venues with live bingo, kids clubs and discos, supermarket, and a choice of takeaway and sit in food outlets.

The park also has an outdoor pool and splash zone, water slides, on-site fairground, ten pin bowling, golf course, and a well-equipped gym.

Holiday Resort Unity is located just 5 minutes away from the beach and 5 minutes from the village, and nearby is a country club with golf course, Brean Theme park and Brean Play.
